How long does a roof inspection take?
Most residential inspections take 30 to 60 minutes on site, depending on roof size, pitch, and attic access. We review the photos with you before we leave whenever possible.
What do you actually check?
Every slope, shingle condition and granule loss, flashing at walls and chimneys, valleys, pipe boots, vents, ridge, gutters and drip edge, and the attic for moisture, staining, and ventilation problems when access allows.
Do I need an inspection after a storm even if I do not see damage?
It is worth it. Wind and hail damage often is not visible from the ground, and evidence fades as weather moves through. An inspection creates a dated photo record either way.
Can you inspect a roof for a home I am buying?
